Set an agenda
A demonstration is an opportunity to connect the machine with your intended product. Share what you want to learn before the session: the packaging sequence, operator interaction, a format change or the appearance of the finished packs.
Provide context and samples
If available, supply product samples, packaging materials and a brief describing your requirements. Confirm with the supplier which samples can be used in the demonstration and which questions will need a separate trial.
Follow the complete process
Look at how the product moves through the machine and how the finished packs leave it. Ask the team to explain the main stages, the routine operator tasks and the checks relevant to your proposed application.
Document the next steps
After the session, summarise what was demonstrated and which requirements remain to be verified. Keep any agreed sample packs and notes together. This gives both teams a clear basis for the next technical discussion.
